Coronation Tea Party Thank you
Last week The Mudchute Park and Farm team had a wonderful time hosting a Tea Party to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III. It was wonderful to see so many members of our community come together to enjoy good company, conversation and to celebrate this momentous occasion.
The afternoon was a great success, with entertainment provided by the talented Denny Lowther who played piano throughout the afternoon including singing and dancing. Guests enjoyed tea, sandwiches, lots of cakes and of course it wouldn’t be a party without East End Jellied Eels!
The afternoon was a joint venture with other local charities Docklands Settlement, Healthy Island Partnership, and One Housing who share our commitment in supporting community cohesion, helping to improve mental health and combat loneliness.
