How your adoption helps

We desperately need to increase our funding to meet the all year round demands on animal care services. Feeding, keeping our animals healthy and enriching the lives of the animals we care for are important for us and make up the majority of our budget as a charity. Your adoption goes toward the costs of feed, husbandry and veterinary care for one of our animals.

By adopting an animal and supporting Mudchute you are helping to give young people the chance to see animals within a location they can afford to reach within the 'inner city environment'. It is important for young people to see animals and learn about food production and farming. With over 220 animals and a Nature Study Centre, attended by over 18,000 school children a year, we provide many inner city children and families with unique learning opportunities through what is often their first time experience of interacting with farm animals.

By adopting a Mudchute Animal, you will be supporting a whole group of animals, rather than just one individual.
